Small daily steps.
Welcome to my first post on this blog. I would like to share with you a little bit about me.
I’m originally from Colombia, a beautiful country in South America. I came to the USA two years ago to study English because as a Colombian I speak Spanish and because of that, I was so afraid about this blog. I’m writing in English!! and of course I know, I’ll going to make many mistakes and I'll be so grateful with those who can tell me about my mistakes in the commentaries. Make mistakes is part of the process, right? I just realized that; no matter your age or experience, the process is the worst part of everything that you want to do. For many years I was trying to avoid that part👎. Big mistake, right? Yeah, it was a really big mistake but thanks to that mistake, I’m going into the process, “the process of make things done”.
So, I had already told you a little bit about me. Let’s start it!!!!!
I would like to give you some tips about my experience learning English. So, if you are learning any language, you can use these tips and you’ll see the progress.
1. Change the language of your cellphone, tablet, computer, TV, etc.
this change is going to help your brain to remember words, instructions and everything that you do with your device. You are going to build some vocabulary just using your phone or computer.

2.Use social media as a learning tool.
Start following people who speak the language that you are learning. Also, profiles where you can find information about the culture, music, tv shows and other interesting things that probably you are going to enjoy and practice on a daily basis.
3. Make your google searches using the language you are learning!!
Yes! Sounds crazy? No, it is not crazy😆. You can do it!
For example, in English. If you are looking for a cooking recipe, just take a look in your language and also English (or any other language). Repeat the ingredients, instructions as you hear them in the video tutorial. Just try it :)
4. Wacht TV shows.
This is the most common advice when you are learning a new language and let me tell you, it is totally true!!!If you are beginner, you can use subtitles. Wacht your favorite movie, TV Serie and why not funny videos. Just enjoy the process. 😊😁💪

Well, for now this is it. I hope you can practice these tips and see some improvement in your process. I'll be reading your comments :).
Have fun everyone.....
